A regulation-first learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

What is the Dymphna Learning Academy?
St. Dymphna has long been recognized as a symbol of hope for those facing emotional and mental health challenges. While St. Dymphna Academy is not a religious institution, we chose the name because she is known as a symbol of hope, healing, and mental wellness. These values align deeply with our mission to support children and families through compassionate, evidence-based care.
The Dymphna Academy is a supportive learning environment designed to meet students where they are. We provide a place of understanding, growth, and support for every child.
We combine structure, flexibility, and individualized support to help students build confidence, independence, and real-life skills. Our approach prioritizes regulation first because students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and ready.
OUR APPROACH

Regulation
Students are supported through sensory strategies, movement, and structured environments that promote calm and readiness.

Connection
We build strong relationships and support communication between students, staff, and families.

Growth
With a strong foundation in place, students work toward academic success, independence, and real-world skills.
We offer multiple pathways within the academy to support students at different ages and stages.
